A beautiful intimate Wedding at Wayland Hall
Alyssa and Gregory’s wedding day at Wayland Hall was the kind that strikes the perfect balance—energetic and joyful, yet intimate and full of meaning.
Wayland Hall, together with Wayland Brewery, creates such a modern, inviting space that feels effortlessly cool. The indoor area flows beautifully into an expansive outdoor patio, and the sharp, geometric lines of the architecture gave us plenty of stunning photo opportunities throughout the day.
One thing I was told before the big day: Greg is the sentimental one—and a cryer. And true to form, during their private vows, the tears started to flow. It was such a raw and heartfelt moment, and one of those scenes that makes you quietly grateful to be behind the lens. Just the two of them, sharing those promises, wrapped in emotion—it was absolutely gorgeous to witness.
The reception decor was tastefully done with a clean, modern aesthetic that suited the space well—elegant without being over the top. The dessert setup was sweet (literally and figuratively), a nice little detail that brought smiles all around without trying to steal the show.
Huge props to Tara at Wayland Hall for taking such great care of not just Alyssa and Greg, but all of us vendors too. It really makes a difference when someone’s making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
And then there’s Molly from The Planning Touch—equal parts boss bitch and wallflower, in the best possible way. She was everywhere and nowhere at once, keeping things on schedule and making sure the couple’s every need was handled, all while staying low-key and calm throughout the chaos of the day.
Alyssa and Gregory’s celebration was full of connection, energy, and love—from their emotional vows to the dance floor moments. A wedding day that felt genuine through and through.
