Wedding at Niagara Falls and Red Coach Inn

Niagara Falls, NY

Hannah and Nick’s wedding was the kind that feels pulled from the scenes of a romantic film, or more fittingly, a beloved TV show. These two fans of the Office took a page out of Pam and Jim’s playbook and started their wedding day at the Red Coach Inn, the same iconic spot where their favorite on-screen couple tied the knot. It was the perfect choice: classic, charming, and rich with character.

Hannah’s details were a dream in her favorite color, blue. From the soft robes worn by her bridesmaids to the elegant stationery, every detail flowed together in complementary shades that created a serene, joyful palette. Next door, Nick and the guys were having a moment of their own, trying to figure out how to tie their bow ties. It was one of those adorably chaotic pre-ceremony rituals that ended in laughter, camaraderie, and some much-needed assistance from dad.

One of the most moving moments of the day came before Hannah and Nick even saw each other. Tucked inside the dining room of the Red Coach Inn, they stood on opposite sides of a dividing wall, reading private vows aloud with only the sound of each other’s voices to guide the moment. They couldn’t see each other, but you could feel the gravity in the air—words spoken so powerfully that their bodies instinctively leaned toward each other, hands reaching out to connect. “To have and to hold” felt like more than a promise—it was an action, unfolding right before us.

Their ceremony took place in one of the most iconic natural settings in the world: Terrapin Point, nestled between the Horseshoe and American Falls of Niagara Falls State Park. On a sunny, bustling Saturday, we found a pocket of calm in the park to host an intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends. The wedding rings were carried by professional ring security personnel and safely delivered to the couple. Mission accomplished gentlemen.

Afterward, we stepped into the crowd for portraits, seamlessly blending in with the tourists and standing out as if they were always meant to be there.

Hannah and Nick had arrived in Niagara Falls a few days early and made it a point to explore the area, but Three Sisters Island was one of the few spots they hadn’t yet visited. So after the ceremony, we made our way there, crossing over footbridges, surrounded by rushing water and weaving through families enjoying the day. We found moments of solitude under the trees, away from the harsh sun, and let the energy of the landscape breathe into their portraits.

Behind the scenes, Shayna from Wed with Webb was everywhere she needed to be and more. Whether she was grabbing water, carrying bags, helping with logistics, or capturing behind-the-scenes content, Shayna was an absolute rock. She even took point on bustling Hannah’s dress, a task I’ll humbly admit is out of my wheelhouse. It’s no surprise Hannah and Nick flew her out to Niagara Falls. Shayna was, unofficially but undeniably, the MVP of the day.

With the dress bustled and the sun beginning its descent, Hannah and Nick practiced their first dance in the most private spot they could find, the Red Coach Inn parking lot. It might not sound glamorous, but the golden light, their quiet laughter, and the simple joy of the moment made the photos feel cinematic, spontaneous, and glowing with warmth, arguably more beautiful than anything that could’ve been captured indoors.

For a quiet break, the couple snuck next door for a quiet coffee break at Spot Coffee. They weren’t posing, but they didn’t need to. Wrapped in each other’s energy, every frame I snapped felt effortlessly romantic.

The reception space at the Grapevine Banquet Hall was cozy and full of personality. One standout detail: a table lined with Polaroid cameras and instant film, inviting guests to document the day in their own way. As a photographer who loves film, I couldn’t help but smile watching guests engage with these fabricators of nostalgia, snapping photos, shaking them dry, and adding their own memories to the couple’s guest book.

They had a touching moment before the festivities came during Hannah and Nick’s foot washing ceremony, a quiet and meaningful pause in the evening that reflected the depth of their commitment to one another.

Soon after, the celebration kicked into high gear. The kids were the first to storm the dance floor, and leading the pack was none other than the bride herself. From that moment on, the night was pure joy in motion.

Hannah and Nick’s wedding was more than just beautiful, it was intimate, emotional, intentional, and filled with the kind of little moments that linger long after the day ends. From tearful vows while separated but connected, to coffee breaks and Polaroids, every part of it felt deeply them. And what an honor it was to capture it all.
