Wedding at The Wells Estate

The Wells Estate is a beautiful and elegant wedding venue in upstate New York, and with its recent renovations it has been newly transformed into a space that feels both timeless and modern. The updated design highlights the estate’s natural charm while elevating it into one of the most sought-after wedding venues in the region.

On Logan and Zach’s wedding day, the morning sun lit up the arches, making them glow as if the whole venue had been designed just for them. With perfect 70-degree weather, it felt like the world had aligned to set the stage for a celebration filled with warmth and joy.

The day started with the hustle and bustle inside the mansion. The girls filled the rooms with energy, laughter, and a little happy chaos as hair and makeup came together. Down the street, the guys had their own version of wedding prep, complete with private ring security and the little ones looking impossibly dapper in their suits.

One of the most emotional moments came when Logan shared a first look with her dad. It was a quiet, heartfelt pause before the rest of the day swept in. Soon after, Logan and Zach shared a first touch. Standing one column away from each other, hands joined, they prayed together with hope and gratitude. Zach did his best to keep his eyes closed and his tears at bay, but it was clear how deeply he felt the moment.

The ceremony space was breathtaking. The brand-new arches, dressed in tasteful floral arrangements, framed the vows in a way that felt grand yet intimate. The processional began with the adorable ring security agents, who approached the aisle with all the seriousness of a top-secret mission. Mission possible, gentlemen. Right behind them, flower girls skipped and twirled down the aisle, scattering petals and giggles. It was the perfect prelude to Logan’s walk toward Zach.

When it came time to seal their vows, Logan and Zach did not stop at one kiss. They lingered in the moment, shared a second, and then a third kiss down the aisle with an elegant dip. You can always tell when a couple knows exactly what they are doing. Their dip was effortlessly graceful, yet still completely spontaneous, a perfect reflection of their joy.

For portraits, we made full use of the expansive grounds. The sun, however, was relentless, so we found shade under the trees to keep everyone from turning into lobsters. The estate is a dream for photos. The mansion, barn, gazebo, and thoughtful touches all fill the space beautifully without overwhelming it. Still, the front of the house stole the show. Its elegant columns reflected the timeless charm of the venue, giving us portraits that felt classic and grand.

Immediately after being introduced to their guests for the first time, Logan and Zach shared a moment that was completely them. In front of all their friends and family, they got matching heart tattoos to mark the day, the first of many more to come. You just can’t even with their cuteness.

As the night rolled on, guests were treated to something far better than late-night snacks or even s’mores: an ice cream truck. Guests lined up, kids screamed in excitement, and Logan and Zach, without question, were the most excited of all. It was their day, and this was their cherry on top.
